Mt. Spurr is a stratovolcano.

It is located in the Aleutian Arc of Alaska. That is approximately 80 miles from Anchorage.

In 1992 This volcano erupted and sent a plume of ash 11 miles into the air with over 50 million cubic meters of ash.

The ashfall was caught in the westerly winds. It carried ash clouds over Anchorage, Prince William Sound, Mat-Su valley and into Southeast Alaska.

This ash is composed of fragments of rock, minerals, and volcanic glass. The ash is fluffy and falls gracefully like snow.

However it plugs up the room air filters, condenser coils, and fresh air intakes.

The ash can cause damage to fan motors, bearings, gas burners, intake motors and heat exchanges. along with the possibility of health conditions with breathing.

We are offering a preventive measure option to help maintain your equipment and health.

The cost can vary depending on the amount, type, and size of your equipment.

We will install hog hair filters on all the air intakes to your equipment and HVAC systems.

We will pre order all your filters for the HVAC units. This will allow us to replace the filters as soon as the ash clears.

If this measure is not taken there will be a large delay in getting filters due to high demand.

We will clean all the condenser coils and clean the ash from your equipment.

This will give you an edge from your competitors with your readiness and abilities to stay open along with offering a cleaner healthier environment.

This will be at a discounted labor cost for the installs.

If you are not a customer that has a preventive maintenance deal with us, with this service we will offer the PM discounted rate of $135.00 per hour + fuel surcharge and filters.

The cost of filters will vary on amount and size.
